Sometimes you need someone outside the project to help you see it clearly.
You might be trying to plan a release, understand why something isn’t working, evaluate an opportunity, or decide where your limited time and money should go next.
I’ll look at the situation with you, ask questions, and help you make a more informed decision based on where your project actually stands.
You can start with one call. There is no management agreement, percentage, or ongoing commitment.
Choose the call that fits what you need.
Quick Strategy Call — $50 (30 minutes)
Bring defined questions, challenges, or decisions. We’ll talk through the situation, identify what matters, and decide what your next move should be.
This call works well for questions such as:
Should we release another single before the EP?
Is this promotional opportunity worth the money?
Should we accept this show or tour?
Which vendor or service makes the most sense?
What do our recent results actually tell us?
What should we prioritize next?
We can cover a lot of ground in 30 minutes, but this call does not include a detailed audit or written follow-up. If the subject requires advance review, several connected questions, or a broader plan, choose the Artist Strategy Call.
Artist Strategy Call — $100 (60 minutes)
Choose this call when you need to look at more than one part of your project or step back and consider the larger picture.
Before the call, I’ll review the information and links you submit with your booking. During the call, we’ll look at what’s going well, what isn’t, your biggest challenges, and what you want to accomplish next.
Afterward, I’ll send you a short written recap of the priorities and next actions we discussed.
This call can be used to review:
Release and campaign planning
Audience growth and fan conversion
Live and regional-development strategy
Branding and positioning
Content priorities
Streaming and performance data
PR, management, label, or partnership decisions
Career planning and accountability
The recap is meant to capture the direction established during the call. It is not a comprehensive marketing plan, platform audit, content calendar, or ongoing project-management document.
Which call should I book?
Choose the Quick Strategy Call when you have shorter questions and primarily need an experienced perspective.
Choose the Artist Strategy Call when you want me to review information in advance, several issues are connected, or you need help determining a broader direction.
If you aren’t sure, email a short explanation to jesse@encoreartistconsulting.com. I’ll tell you which option makes the most sense. There is no charge for asking.
What can we talk about?
Release strategy
We can work through release timing, single and EP sequencing, rollout length, available assets, budgets, merchandise, publicity, and what should happen before and after release day.
Audience and data
I can help you review streaming, social, live, merchandise, and other available data to better understand what is growing, where attention is coming from, and which numbers actually matter to your goals.
Marketing and content
We can look at what you are currently doing, what your audience responds to, and what is realistic for you to maintain. I won’t automatically tell you to post more or build your entire plan around social media.
Live strategy
We can discuss show offers, routing, budgets, merchandise, support opportunities, regional development, and whether a particular tour makes sense for your current position.
Brand and artist development
We can look at whether your music, visuals, messaging, live presentation, and audience feel connected. The goal is not to manufacture a persona. It is to make the project easier for the right people to understand and remember.
Career and business decisions
I can help you think through management proposals, label interest, PR campaigns, vendors, partnerships, band responsibilities, rights administration, and other decisions surrounding your project.
If the issue requires an attorney, accountant, or another licensed or specialized professional, I’ll tell you that.

What happens after you book?
1. Tell me what you want to discuss
The booking form will ask for your artist information, relevant links, and the questions or challenges you want to address.
2. Share the relevant context
For a Quick Strategy Call, send the information necessary to understand the immediate questions.
For an Artist Strategy Call, you can include music links, performance data, campaign results, proposals, budgets, release plans, or other materials relevant to the conversation.
If access to a platform like Spotify for Artists becomes necessary for deeper work, use its authorized team or user-access settings.
3. We connect on a call
Calls are typically held virtually via Google Meet, but if you prefer just a phone call, we can do that too.
4. You decide what happens next
You may leave with the answer you needed, return later for another call, or want to meet regularly for accountability and ongoing support. There is no obligation-book as much or as little time as you want to get the support you’re looking for.
Frequently asked questions
What is consulting? How do you differ from having a manager?
Think of it as having manager feedback and guidance without commitments or commissions. In many ways it’s similar to connecting with a coach or therapist-I can’t do the work for you, but I will help guide you to the results you’re looking for, and hopefully save you time, money, and missteps along the way. Most independent developing artists lack support from those with industry experience, and I aim to close that gap.
What if we already have a manager/agent/label/etc.?
That’s completely fine-I can offer an outside perspective on specific questions or help you prepare for conversations with your team. I’m not financially incentivized to have you make any decisions-I will always tell you what I objectively think is in your best interest. My role is to complement the people already working with you, not replace them or interfere with their responsibilities.
Do I need to know exactly what I need before booking?
No. It is enough to describe what is happening, where you feel stuck, and what you are trying to accomplish.
How much research is included?
The Quick Strategy Call includes enough review to understand the specific question you submit.
The Artist Strategy Call includes a reasonable review of the links and materials relevant to the discussion. A comprehensive audit, detailed written strategy, or review of a large volume of materials requires a separate scope.
Do you need access to my artist accounts?
Usually not for an initial call. Public links, screenshots, exports, and the information you provide are often enough.
For deeper tracking, authorized team access to platforms such as Spotify for Artists or Apple Music for Artists may be helpful.
Can other band members join?
Absolutely. I typically work with one or two members of a band for ongoing relationships, but I also find having more or all members present can often lead to more insights and ideas, and creates more buy-in.
Will you create/execute for us or book/pitch us?
The $50 and $100 calls provide advice, analysis, and direction. They do not include ongoing project management, content creation, booking, pitching, public relations, advertising management, or campaign execution.
I don’t represent you, but I’m happy to help you connect the dots to relationships you’re looking for.
Do you offer recurring consulting?
Yes, when the artist’s needs and my availability make it a good fit. Recurring support is scoped separately so that the expectations, workload, cadence, and price are clear.
You can also continue booking individual calls without establishing a recurring arrangement.
Do I have to commit to anything after the call?
Nope-each call stands on its own and you’re welcome to come back whenever you want or need more support.
Can you guarantee growth or a particular result?
No, but I can help you make better decisions, set reasonable goals, review results, and adjust the plan. I cannot guarantee streams, followers, press coverage, ticket sales, revenue, industry interest, or a specific timeline.
You’re responsible for executing the work discussed and providing accurate information and necessary materials.
Is payment required in advance?
Yes. Payment is collected through the booking page when you schedule.
What is the cancellation policy?
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. One complimentary reschedule is permitted per appointment.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the call and missed appointments are nonrefundable. If I need to cancel, you may choose a new time or receive a full refund.
